In March 2007, Aventura Partners completed an investment in Clinique Borom Daara-J, a maternity-care medical facility in Tivaouane, Senegal.
The clinic was founded in 2004 by a university of Dakar graduate mid-wife, with post-graduate executive training in inpatient care and general management.
The privately run clinic specialises in pre-natal and maternity care. The clinic also offers basis services in family planning, pediatrics and general medicine, with focus on patient supervision and preventative care. Responding to strong local demand, the clinic recently began to offer maternity-related ultra-sound examinations.
