In December 2007 Aventura Partners completed an investment in Agrina Senegal, an agricultural production and management firm. Financing was completed with two co-investors:
DEG - Deutsche Investitions und Entwicklungsgesellschaft and Banque Régionale de Marchés
Through its production of conventional and organic fruits, vegetables and nuts, Agrina serves both domestic and export markets. The company’s in-house expertise enables it to manage the entire food production process from land preparation to packaging and transport of fresh produce. The firm also provides consulting and development assistance to agricultural development initiatives.
